The NEWFEED Project team attended the 4th International Animal Nutrition Congress held from February 28th to March 2nd, 2024, in Antalya, Turkey.
During the event, our partners from METU – Middle East Technical University presented their researche about the life cycle assessment (LCA) of Case Study 1 (value chain developed by AZTİ) in the session of the satellite symposium on alternative animal feeds, focusing on the creation of sustainable products.
The presentation was titled “Environmental Sustainability of Valorizing Food Waste in Animal Feed Production – Case of Grape Stem”. It highlighted the potential of the valorization process to provide a sustainable solution for the dairy sheep livestock sector.
