NEWFEED Advisory Board consists of representative members of the main sectors or stakeholders involved in the recovery and exploitation of food by-products or potentially affected by the project’s results:

  • Food companies         
  • Logistic & valorisation companies
  • Feed producers
  • Livestock
  • Public authorities and Policymakers
  • Research Organizations and Universities
  • General public

The 3rd Advisory Board

The 3rd and final Advisory board meeting of the PRIMA NEWFEED project took place on June 12th, 2024, where 11 members of 10 companies, academic/research institutes and public authorities participated. This Advisory board served to collect stakeholders feedback about Exploitation Strategy and encouraged them to participate in the new business activity.

Objectives:

  • to analyze and validate the results of the 3 value chains.
  • to get the stakeholders feedback about Exploitation Strategy and encouraged them to participate in the new business activity.
  • to revise the  Exploitation strategies and update including the new specific activities to fill-up stakeholder requirements.

Stakeholders attendance:

11 people from 10 companies based in 6 different countries and EU.

The 2nd Advisory Board

The 2nd Advisory board meeting of the PRIMA NEWFEED project took place on February 15th, 2023, where 19 members of 17 companies, academic/research institutes and public authorities participated. This Advisory board served to validate the proposed solution before the scaling up of the Valorisation strategies and Validation of alternative feeds.

Objectives:

  • to analyse and validate the main objectives of the 3 value chains.
  • to validate the proposed solution in each case study.
  • to get the stakeholders feedback about Main Challenges and Implementation strategy.

Stakeholders attendance:

19 people from 17 companies based in 5 different countries and EU.

Upcoming Advisory board:

The 3rd and final Advisory Board meeting will take place in June 2024, focusing on getting the stakeholders feedback about Exploitation Strategy and encouraged them to participate in the new business activity.

The 1st Advisory Board

The 1st Advisory board meeting of the PRIMA NEWFEED project took place in December 2021, where 13 members of 11 different companies participated. It served to introduce the scope and aims of the project in detail to Advisory Board Members and offer the opportunity to analyse and validate the objectives and expected results of the project.

Objectives:

  • to analyse and validate the objectives and expected results of the project.
  • to validate the proposed solution before the scaling up of the Valorisation strategies and Validation of alternative feeds.
  • to get the stakeholders feedback about Exploitation strategy and encouraged them to participate in the new business activity.

Stakeholders attendance:

13 people from 11 companies based in 4 different countries and EU.

The 2nd Advisory Board meeting will take place in early 2023, to validate the proposed solution before the scaling up of the Valorisation strategies and Validation of alternative feeds.
