Join Us for the Egyptian Demonstration Workshop on October 9th, 2024!
We are excited to invite you to the Egyptian Demonstration Workshop, which will take place on October 9th, 2024, at the Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development (HUSD) in Cairo. This event is a key opportunity to engage with the latest innovations in sustainable feed production, developed at the framework of the NEWFEED project.
Participants will get an exclusive chance to tour the SEKEM facilities, where part of Case Study 3 on the valorization of olive cake was conducted. This will include a visit to the poultry house and the pilot-scale facility for the microbial fermentation of olive cake, offering unique insights into how food industry by-products can be transformed into valuable feed ingredients. Additionally, all three case studies of the project (Spain, Greece, and Egypt) will be presented and discussed in depth.
This workshop, organized by HUSD, ISIS Organic, and the Sekem Development Foundation (SDF), is a must-attend for anyone interested in sustainable agriculture, animal feed, or circular economy practices.
