It’s a Wrap!
The 3rd Annual Meeting of the NEWFEED Project was a great success, held from the 8th to the 11th of October 2024 in Cairo at Heliopolis University!
On the first day of the meeting, the progress of Work Packages (WPs) 1, 2, and 3 was presented, and the next steps were outlined. The day concluded with a visit to HUSD’s farm, where Case Study 3 is taking place. Later, the partners enjoyed a pleasant social dinner.
On the 9th of October, the Egyptian Demonstration Workshop was held, with all partners participating. The consortium meeting continued with the presentation of the latest results from WP4. The partners also discussed administrative and financial management topics presented by the coordinator, David San Martín Errea from AZTI, which were reviewed in detail with the EU officers.
The final two days of the annual meeting were dedicated to social activities, allowing partners to explore Egyptian culture and traditions.
The next and final annual meeting will be held in Spain in February 2025.
