NewFeed Project Launches Demonstration Workshops: Unlocking Innovations in Food Industry By-Products
NewFeed project team is thrilled to announce the launch of its 2nd Press Release, which signals the kick-off of the Demonstration Workshops. These workshops mark a pivotal moment in the project’s journey, marking the integration of innovative solutions into real-world applications.
Since its beginning, NewFeed project team has been dedicated to the validation of three value chains across the Mediterranean region. These chains cover the valorization of grape stems (Case study 1, conducted in Spain), oranges (Case study 2, conducted in Greece), and olive cake (Case study 3, conducted in Egypt). Through extensive research and teamwork, these efforts have yielded promising results, leading to the development of new feed ingredients suitable for ruminant and poultry.
In line with our commitment to knowledge transfer and industry engagement, NewFeed project extends invites you to join our Demonstration Workshops across the Mediterranean region. Stakeholders across the food industry, including wineries, orange juice, and olive oil producers, as well as livestock feed manufacturers and farmers are more than welcome to explore the transformative potential of our innovations and together to foster cross-border knowledge exchange.
The Demonstration Workshops are scheduled to take place from March 2024 to June 2025, with sessions planned in each of the case study regions (Spain, Greece, and Egypt), alongside a Mediterranean-level workshop coinciding with the World Rural Forum. These workshops serve as platforms for interactive exploration, allowing participants to dive into the intricacies of NewFeed ingredients and their applications.
Join us at our First Demonstration Workshop, which will take place in the framework of World Rural Forum organized by AZTI, NEIKER and UAGA at NEIKER’s facilities in Agri-Food Campus of Arkaute, Spain.
